Objective matter is an abstract concept. Subjective experience is reality. Sadly, we live in a dark age where most see it the other way round. The scientific method can be applied to subjective experience. This is what needs to happen. The former is a beneficial and powerful way of confirming the latter. The left and right hemispheres work together.
The Pathless Path
The Christian Mystic Meister Eckhart was accused of blasphemy for phrases like the poem's first stanza below, for the church did not understand what he was saying. The first stanza is the ultimate prayer. He calls on God for the last remaining obstacle to live as God to be removed. Those who understand this can see for what he was praying. To live in complete oneness as God. To let go completely of any label or concept of God in his mind to be God directly.
Be Clear Where Your Sense Of Self Lies
As you realise your essential oneness, you will discover the source of your happiness, and then spontaneously, you will find your natural talents and give birth to creativity to share with the world. What we call the economy is a result of this. You will naturally contribute to it by creating beauty, sharing love and praise and devotion to truth and understanding in a selfless way.
There Are Two Paths You Can Go By….
We can observe through our personal experience, that the human finite mind-body reflects the characteristics of infinite Consciousness (this, of course, must be the case as all finite existence is derived from the infinite), giving rise to relative reflections in human life of the absolute qualities of the infinite.
The Tension Of Attention
It often takes a while to get used to relaxing the stretching of our consciousness (*attention) in the form of our busy mind. It is fundamentally one big mental habit that fundamentally believes it is about to die at any moment and is constantly, frantically, trying to run our life to save itself.
Why Me?
The sharpness of psychological trauma in mind and body often results in emotional and cognitive confusion for many years. It can lead to behavioural difficulties and can be the foundation of addictions and avoidant behaviours. The memory of the trauma is often be trapped in the body and mind, retriggering high levels of emotion later on in moments where there may be some form of unconscious or conscious reminder of them perceptively.
Oneness Of Self and Environment
As we let go of thoughts, feelings etc. in the foreground of experience and sink back into the I that is aware in the background of experience we become at one with ourselves. We see that what we call ourselves is a limitless constant “field” that is “aware” or “knowing” (by virtue of the fact that it recognises what is going on within it and recognises itself). We are, in essence, this field of pure knowing or awareness.
The Future Is Bright The Future Is One
Too often, money is used to control and dominate because this important human technology is another way to prop up and facilitate a consumer society. Mass consumption is a consequence of the mass overproduction from a corporate industrial complex whose imperative has become its economic survival at the expense of community and not in service to society.
Forget Me Not
The natural resources that comprise all human beings' mind-body capacities are, in essence, reminder systems. They are the "forget me nots" that infinite consciousness has created for itself.
