There Are Two Paths You Can Go By….
Naturally Being Thoughts…
We can observe that the human finite mind-body reflects the characteristics of infinite consciousness (this of course must be the case as all finite existence is derived from the infinite) giving rise to relative reflections in human life of the absolute qualities of the infinite.
Infinite Consciousness is pure (unconditioned) ultimate existence which is eternal and constant (therefore is ultimately secure) - reflected in the relative human impulse for security and status (respect).
Infinite Consciousness is pure (unconditioned) ultimate autonomy (therefore is ultimately free) - reflected in the human impulse for freedom and creativity.
Infinite Consciousness spontaneously focuses itself into unique finite expressions of its impersonal self (therefore is ultimately attending and can exist in focussed and defocussed form) – reflected in the human impulse to focus attention on other forms and receive attention from other forms.
Infinite Consciousness is pure (unconditioned) ultimate oneness (therefore is ultimately complete or whole) - reflected in the relative human impulse to return to wholeness through seeking achievement of meaning in three key contextual paths of human life: that derived from service to and compassionate relationships with other living things (love)[institutionally expressed as public service], that derived from service to understanding the context of life (truth) [institutionally expressed as learning and science], that derived from service to the appreciation of the finite formation of life (beauty) [institutionally expressed as art and creative industry]
Path 1
When the human mind-body feels psychological separate from its source of infinite consciousness (and therefore finite in time and space) then, though it operates by these same relative impulses, driven by the resulting fear and inner inadequacy it immediately seeks to manipulate (take from) the environment (which is views as separate), to meet what it perceives as its own survival needs as quickly as possible to the detriment of the environment, which is the only psychological option open to it in this state.
This manipulation plays out in the selfish use of the mind and body’s natural resources to maintain unequal accumulation of material gain, controlling abusive relationships with others, attention-seeking, and distortion of meaning to serve the ends of personal survival.
Path 2
When the human mind-body feels psychological at one with its source of infinite consciousness (and therefore free of the limited perception of time and space) then, though it operates by these same relative impulses, it immediately seeks to give is happiness to the environment (which is knows is its own body and not separate from it), to nurture life as a whole.
This nurturing plays out in the unselfish use of the mind and body’s natural resources to maintain equal accumulation of material gain for all, respectful caring building of relationships with others, attention giving, and an exploration of meaning in service to the impersonal universal consciousness.
