The Natural Wealth Of The Heart

When we understand and feel the world of time and space to be our intimate body, and there is no other person out there, just ourselves in another form, then there is no obstacle of defensive self-consciousness to the natural sharing of the life-affirming qualities of our true nature through the practical vehicles of paid-for work and other activities. Everything we do becomes a sacred calling that emerges from the safe silence of the heart of Awareness rather than a neurotic grasping for safety by the mind. Time and space, enthusiasm, imagination, and rationality become the abundant precious gifts we have given ourselves rather than scarce resources we fearfully turn into commodities and burn to try to keep us safe.

The intention of our great industries lies in this difference. When failing to realise our innate wholeness, creative art arising from the oneness of beauty is reduced to an advertising brand. Caring service arising from the oneness of love is reduced to a means to make a profit. Exploration of understanding arising from the oneness of truth transforms education into training. The god of more and never enough becomes the cultural lifeblood of the economy as quantity is placed before quality.

This culture that materializes and objectifies human happiness has programmed generations of minds into exhausting self-conscious fear. Yet, remarkably, quality can be placed before quantity instantly as a shift in perspective occurs based on understanding what is permanently true about ourselves and finding refuge in that.

As we courageously and patiently connect with and listen to the true heart that is the great fullness of the Aware Reality we are, unlimited by beliefs that bind it, we free ourselves from being driven by the great foggy emptiness of the mind. Instead of self-consciously separating everything into me and the world, actions that crystalise love, truth, and beauty can shine. These crystals of love, truth, and beauty are always surrounded by enthusiasm, not fear. They shine in our hearts supported by free inspiration, not cloud our minds with doubt, control, and seeking. As we become accustomed to their presence, we discover the innate natural, creative, abundant wealth of the heart that is at one.
